Students learn to care for each other in Empathy Project

Fifth-grader Stacy Reid says it’s important to care for others because everyone needs help.

 

The Nicolet Elementary School student recently participated in a program being taught to students in kindergarten through fifth grade throughout the Green Bay School District. The idea is help kids understand the importance of empathy and ways to show it. The program called “The Empathy Project: I Know How You Feel” is held during each school’s.  January guidance lesson.The event is partly a recognition of Martin Luther King Day, which was Monday.
