Penn State: Moral duty receives a fresh look: Empathy is the great teacher in our lives.

Standing in the shoes of another, we are invited to see as they see, feel as they feel.

The Freeh Report on Penn State, highlights the “striking lack of empathy” on the part of university officials toward the child victims of rape and sexual assault. They engaged in a cover-up.
They forgot their mission, to “improve the well-being and health” of the young people in their care.

We would do well to stand in the shoes of the youths who were first assaulted and then abandoned.
