What Can You Do to Build Empathy?
There are a bunch of different audience research activities. Some are geared toward generating understanding, others toward building empathy and seeking opportunities for adding value that may have not been previously identified. Macro-level research methods like surveys and analytics provide us with greater understanding, but do they help us connect with those for whom we are designing? Does the data help us understand their motivations, needs, life experiences, or values?…..
