Paul Burstow MP is the former Minister for Social Care. Paul has prompted me to bring my thoughts and experiences together as he has written asking me for my thoughts on the question ‘how do we embed compassion?’.
An important question and I don’t pretend to have all the answers but having had the privilege of working alongside inspiring leaders in the NHS, Local Authorities and Care Provider organisations to design and deliver our deep change ‘Everyone Matters’ programmes which focus on compassion, we now have a good sense of what it takes to embed compassion into the ways that we care and support.
